Furniture questions
Can I paint over varnish or laminate?
Yes, once you key the surface with abrasive and degrease it so the paint can grip.
Do I need a topcoat or wax?
Not for normal use. On heavy-wear surfaces like a kitchen table top, a clear protective topcoat adds extra resistance.
How long before I can use the piece?
Handle carefully after 24 hours; the film continues hardening over the following days.
Brush or spray?
Both work. A mini foam roller with a brush for detail gives a very even finish on flat panels.
